Aeonium Cluster Bar Brooch

A tiny cluster of Aeonium Purpurea succulent castings on a silver bar.

This brooch is from a collection of conceptual works inspired by an antique bar brooch with a large central Citrine stone that I inherited from my paternal grandmother when she passed away. This style of brooch dates back to the Victorian era and is a common heirloom. I am always captivated by heirlooms and keepsakes and the connection felt when wearing jewellery that carries such significance.

The pin is made of gold to emphasise the piercing element.

    Sterling silver, 9k gold.

    44mm X 11mm X 16mm
