Banksia Frame Brooch

A basket structure housing a section of Banksia.

 

This piece is from a conceptual collection inspired by native Australian flora. The structures are designed to be a gallery space, so that what is on display can be changed and filled by whatever plants are in season.

One of the pins goes through the plant cutting to keep it in the brooch and one goes through the wearers clothing.
