Banksia 'Prionotes' Hoop Earring (Small)

The shape of these hoops is taken from the leaf of the Banksia variety 'Prionotes', which is native to the South West of Western Australia. Each hoop is cut, textured and sculpted entirely by hand, with each little line of the leaf venation pattern being individually punched into the metal. The venation pattern varies between the different types of banksia leaves. 

 

Closed hoop design, so hair does not get caught easily.

 

Sterling silver. Satin finish. All findings made by hand.
